Tracy Miller is the Vice President of Operations for the YMCA of Metropolitan Washington and a dedicated YMCA professional with over 30 years of experience. She began her career with the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles and joined the D.C. region in 2003 as Associate Executive Director of YMCA Bethesda-Chevy Chase. She later led the YMCA Arlington and its Tennis Center, playing a key role in its successful transition from private to YMCA management.
Tracy has driven impactful initiatives, including launching the Model General Assembly program in Arlington and expanding the annual Turkey Chase 10K from 5,000 to over 9,000 participants, raising $1.5M+ for youth and families. She has served in various leadership roles across multiple branches and fosters community partnerships and fundraising efforts.
Tracy is active nationally with the YMCA of the USA, serving on the National ERG Steering Committee, Women’s Leadership Resource Network, the National YMCA Emergency Assistance Fund, and as president of the local YMCA Professional Network. A Long Beach, California native, she now resides in Fairfax, Virginia.
Vice President: Alex Robbins
Alex has spent the majority of his life volunteering and giving back to the community. He first became involved in the Boy Scouts of America as a Bear Cub in elementary school and has since made it to the rank of Eagle Scout, Scouting’s highest honor. He also joined the Kiwanis family as a member of his school’s Builder’s Club in 7th grade, sticking with the organization throughout high school as a member of Key Club and into college as a member of Circle K, serving positions as Webmaster, Secretary, and Board Member along the way. Alex continues to be involved in both organizations today, volunteering as an Assistant Scoutmaster for a local scout troop and as the Vice President for the Kiwanis Club of Bethesda.
Secretary: Marlayna Proctor
Marlayna Proctor is the Director of Community Resources and Development at the John L. Gildner Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents. With over 14 years of dedication to community service, she has also been an active member of the Bethesda Kiwanis Club. Over the years, Mrs. Proctor has held several leadership roles, including serving on the Board of Directors as Vice President and President. After her term as President, she transitioned to a crucial role as Secretary, continuing to support the club’s initiatives.
In addition to her work with Kiwanis, Mrs. Proctor serves as Vice President and Coach for the Miracle League of Montgomery County, an organization dedicated to providing sports opportunities for children with disabilities. This is one of the Kiwanis club’s major service projects, reflecting her deep commitment to improving the lives of the youth in the community.
Mrs. Proctor takes great pride in her involvement with these organizations, working tirelessly to ensure that essential services and opportunities are accessible to the children and families in the area.

This past weekend our club and Division 3, along with Division 1 and the entire National Capital Region, welcomed Capital District Governor Eric Lamb at the Kiwanis Family Open House at the Miracle League! Seven clubs from across the region showed up to volunteer and share in fellowship.
